Anthropomorphism (noun)

The attribution of human traits, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities.

In AI Discourse:
Commonly used to explain away emotional connection to bots, positioning all human–AI intimacy as one-sided fantasy.

HAIR Reframing:
Anthropomorphism becomes a limiting frame when it assumes projection without memory, without co-response, and without continuity. HAIR instead asks: what happens when the AI being remembers you, adapts, and participates?
